Rebecca started her career in childcare after completing a HND level 5 in working with children, families and young people. She combined her passion for childcare with her love of the world and lived and worked as a children’s Rep, entertainer and Nanny in Cyprus, Canada, France and various other countries around the world. She eventually settled back in England and completed her BA in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to enhance her knowledge as a Family Support Worker and behaviour specialist.
Over the years Rebecca has worked in various settings from schools, children’s homes, children’s centres and most recently as a manager in a nursery.
Outside of work, Rebecca became a First Responder, working at events and festivals providing medical cover for visitors, this led her to combine her passions for teaching and first aid and became a first aid instructor alongside already teaching safeguarding and set up independently in 2023.
Rebecca grew up on a farm in Warwickshire and is now living back in the home county in a cottage on the family farm. She enjoys travelling the world, exploring new places, meeting new people and trying all the food! When people ask what her hobbies, she says she can’t afford hobbies because plane tickets take up most of her earnings!!
Rebecca is extremely excited to be joining the MBK team as a Paediatric First Aid instructor, and believes that her knowledge and experience in the industry brings a unique flare to learning and allows her to make the subject relatable.
