Fundamental British Values & Cultural Capital Key Ring Cards

Upholding Fundamental British Values are one of the key things Ofsted Inspectors look out for. These FBV’S key cards were developed to support practitioners’ knowledge and understanding of British Values, making them completely unique. The 2022 edition now also includes the EYFS 2021 updates and a card on Cultural Capital to help practitioners understand this definition. As well as identifying the links to the EYFS we have detailed the ways you as practitioners can promote the FBV’s within your setting.

The pack consists of 10 credit card sized cards, printed front and back, supplied with a detachable ring and a lanyard.

Individual Liberty

Democracy

Mutual Respect & Tolerance

Specific cards relating to Prevent Duty, Statutory Guidance, Vulnerable Families along with a how to take action card entitled Recognise, Respond and Refer that provides contact details for use in an emergency.

These Fundamental British Values & Cultural Capital key cards are made to the highest quality with the use of NeverTear, a material which is both tear and water resistant – making them perfect for early years settings, where we know things get messy! This production method make these cards highly durable, and we hope they will have a long life span within settings.
