Beginners Guide to SEND in Early Years – Part 2

This course will give an overview of how an early year setting should be providing support for children with SEND. Participants will look at – Early Identification of SEND – SEN Support in Early Years – Education & Health Care Plans – Working with external specialists – Transition.

This course is perfect for all practitioners wanting to further develop their understanding of SEND and especially those who are new to Early Years and those becoming a SENDCO or entering Management.

This Beginners Guide to SEND in Early Years course will enable staff to:

  • Understand how to support children with SEND
  • Have a greater insight into the processes and procedures in the identification of SEND
  • Increase their knowledge of external specialists and how they can help the setting
  • Offer an appropriate transition process for children with SEND

This course is delivered as a stand-alone course or could be combined with our Beginners Guide to SEND in Early Years – Part 1.

We are currently delivering our courses both face to face and via Zoom Live. We use many different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and when virtual expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses so that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
